All of a sudden, sometime during the time I purchased it and now, the bezel . Something stuck around Submariner bezel - how to fix? Last week I noticed that something had somehow gotten between the bezel on my relatively new (AD-purchased) 116610LN. Here are some pictures (it’s right above the 0 in 20). The bezel is stiff and harder to rotate on my 13 year old Submariner ND 14060 A serial compared to a new model Sub that I test drove today in a local AD. Any suggestions why? The guy in the store said probably because it has been polished..and over the years this happens. All of a sudden, sometime during the time I purchased it and now, the bezel won't move. Actually, it will still turn but it takes a LOT of force, and I do not wish to turn it any longer in order to avoid any further damages.

Sounds like the underside of your bezel isn't making strong contact with the 4 clicks. Try pushing the bezel down on to the watch hard with your thumbs. There's some a hyrtel ring around the crystal retainer which your bezel rotates on. Without taking it in for a costly service repair, what is the safest easiest way to unlock the bezel and get it to rotate again. WD-40 etc? Don't have the Rolex tools to fit the bezel so it will have to be with hand force and a lubricant only. Any ideas? .This instructable will guide you through removing and replacing the bezel on your Rolex Submariner. The same general process can be used with a GMT Master II. I used my stainless steel anniversary sub, reference 16610.
